Information you provide

Account and profile details (such as your name, email address, and workspace information), content you create in the Service (such as links, pages, products, and campaigns), payment-related information processed by our payment providers, and any messages you send us.

Information we collect automatically

Usage data, device and browser information, and analytics about how the Service and the links and pages you create are used. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service.

Platform Data from connected accounts (Meta)

When you connect a Meta account (Facebook and/or Instagram) to a Barely workspace, you authorize us to access certain data through the Meta Graph API in accordance with the permissions you grant. This may include:

• Your business portfolios and the assets within them (Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, and ad accounts);
• Organic content (Facebook Page posts and Instagram media) and its performance metrics, such as reach, impressions, likes, comments, shares, saves, and video views;
• Advertising objects (campaigns, ad sets, and ads) and their performance metrics, such as spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions; and
• Access tokens necessary to retrieve the above data, which we store securely.

We access this Platform Data only to provide the connected features you request — principally, syncing and displaying performance analytics within your workspace.

How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• To sync and display performance analytics for the assets you connect and map to a workspace;
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service;
• To detect, prevent, and address security issues, fraud, and abuse; and
• To comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your information. We share information only as follows:

• With service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, hosting, database, analytics, email, and security providers), bound by confidentiality obligations and permitted to use the information only to provide services to us;
• When required by law or to respond to a valid request by a government or law enforcement authority; and
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Use of Meta Platform Data

Our access to and use of data obtained through Meta is subject to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We use Platform Data solely to provide and improve the features you have connected, do not use it for unrelated purposes, and retain it only as long as necessary for those features or as required by law.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can disconnect a connected account at any time from your workspace settings, or remove Barely from your Meta account settings, which stops further syncing. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the Service before the change takes effect.
